CPS-148

Hi there!  Thanks for stopping by today.  This is my first attempt at a sketch challenge, so we’ll see how this goes…  Would’ve liked to have given myself some more time to make sure I get the link posted correctly and everything, but our computer crashed and we’ve had to buy a new one!  Luckily my smarty husband was able to salvage our old hard drive and all of its contents!!!

  So…here’s my card:

supplies:  Papertrey Ink cardstock (vintage cream, spirng rain, enchanted evening), ink (vintage cream, enchanted evening), and stamps (Giga Guidelines & Polka Dot Basics), Autumn Leaves stamps (flourishes), Versamark ink, EK success pen, Nestabilities die (long rectangles)

I felt a little stuck trying to “fill in” the elements on the sketch.  Decided not to make too much of it and stick with something simple.  I love clean lines and no fuss.  And this color combo is such a fave of mine-cream, a light blue, dark blue, and gold.  Warm and wintery at the same time.  It’s hard to see the embossing detail, but the swirls are embossed in gold and clear.  I love the look of the clear embossing on the cream cardstock.  Oh, and those stamps, so old, I know!!!  They were everywhere a few years ago, and mine haven’t been put away yet.  Tell you the truth, I’d love to upgrade to a more sophisticated version.  As soon as the budget allows!  Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek.
