Do you have creative play sessions? I love just busting out the stamps and seeing what comes out- without any expectation of an end product. Very freeing. And sometimes among the new ideas, you get pretty little pieces to use at a later time. I’ve had this little medallion made for a month or so (from my last play date) and I was ecstatic when it fit in with the latest Embellish Challenge!
I remembered this awesome idea that Nichole Heady came up with some time ago and had to give it a try. The floss center totally worked with all the symmetry in the medallion! How lucky was that? Here’s the full card:
The little bit on the right is just a little strip of aqua mist cardstock with a rhinestone on each end. Without it the sentiment strip looked empty and floating to me. It may be more apparent in the first pic, but the centers of each stamped bit are filled with some diamond Stickles. Nice & shiny. Alright, had to get this posted before the kids’ bathtime…so, I’m off! Thanks for taking a look!
